Based on my experience in teaching the English subject, the communicative approach is the best way on how a student can acquire it. This means that it is best learned by students when they use it in their everyday life such as during their interaction with other people whatever their purpose may be. But as they say learning is not easy and can't be gain through a snap of the finger, thus there must be a consistent input that a teacher may give so that mastery will be attained at a high level. There must also be an evaluation period to determine whether a student grasps the lessons taught or not. I, therefore, propose that there should be at least 2 hours communication sessions on weekdays and at least 5 hours communication and evaluation sessions during weekends. In this way, learning the language will not sound like a must instead it may become natural and fun!
