I'm looking for a freelancer to provide me with in-person training in transcription so that I can get paid jobs and work part time when and where I want. I don't have any prior experience in this field, so I'm hoping to gain the knowledge and skills I need from the training to be able to meet my goals. After receiving the training, I want to be able to apply what I've learned in order to find and secure paid work as a transcriptionist.

Hello, I think I can help you. While I can't train you in person, I believe I can train you to become a transcriptionist. I've been a freelance transcriptionist for over a decade and now an employee with a legal/law enforcement transcription company. I can tell you the industry is changing. More and more companies are heading toward using AI to generate transcripts and then using contract workers to edit the files. While still transcription, it's somewhat different to master.
