Hello all! My name is Garrett and boy oh boy do I have quite the project for you! :D For several years now, I have been working on a story that is finally going to see the light of day! As I reach the climax of the story and prepare for publication, I find myself in need of a video to promote the book along a wide array of social medias, namely YouTube, Facebook, and other such platforms. As my time is currently being consumed with finishing the story (and also with planning a wedding with my lovely and wonderful fiance), I have no breaks to actually do the video myself. That's where you come in! The project I am proposing is a short 1 minute- 2.5 minutes long video centered around the theme of the story. I would like for the video to be done in a format similar to what you would see in movie trailers. Please see the videos below for reference. I will also need to see portfolios showcasing prior work. I will provide all source material (including sample chapters of the book) and a title graphic to be used in the video. ALL bids will be considered, as I prefer quality product over price. Please keep in mind that the video will be used for commercial purposes, but the director will receive full credit for the video itself. Well, that's about it. It is an update responding to your update of the project. Thanks for the details you shared with your update! As you marked the video to be something exactly what you were looking for it is more obvious now what the job itself will be. It also means that the photos, of the mentioned children also have to be remade. We need two actors - a boy and an old man. (do they have to be native english?) For your consideration and to express my wish to take part in this job I am reducing the bid with the possible amount. Regards: Gabor Wow! That's a job to do! It would be easier to give a precise bit when knowing a storyboard or at least the story! Please provide that too! I am working in video production 15 years ago as producer-director and manytimes like cameraman, screenwriter, editor... I have a creative group of professionals (3d artist, fx specialist, composer) who works with me. There is a theatre and film drama workshop with which I work regularly on film projects.
