I would like to hire a Website Designer

I’m looking for someone to get me started replacing my Phanfare photo-sharing site with a site that looks similar. I dislike most photo-sharing sites because, as best I can tell, users just fill them with photo after undifferentiated photo. The photos may be organized, but the organization isn’t apparent. I’m an organization freak. Phanfare uses thumbnails at three levels plus descriptions and captions to arrange events by year and break big events into manageable sub-events. Thumbnails and text combine to explain my photographed life. BTW, I’m not interested in selling photos; mine is a family site. Unfortunately, Phanfare hasn’t been supported since 2013, and now it’s slow and quirky. Its days are numbered—like mine. I’m 73 and can’t master today’s photo sites, because they lack phone support (Phanfare had it when I got started there). Answers to my emails raise more questions than they answer. I can’t take it no more!! Let me try to be clear. I’m not asking you to transfer many thousands of my Phanfare photos to a site you design. I need you to find and customize a photo-sharing site and make it look something like Phanfare (Flickr? SmugMug?). Set up the architecture and populate it a bit so that I can see that the site will appear and behave the way I want. Levels are key: TOP LEVEL. [login to view URL] displays thumbnails with captions (in two font sizes) for all my events and clusters them by years. I like that a lot but might live with just a bold list of years, not some tiny list along the side. Phanfare arranges photos in only one way: chronologically. I don’t need that; I can arrange photos chronologically on my own. MIDDLE LEVEL. Phanfare either displays all the photos for a SIMPLE event ( [login to view URL] ) or it displays thumbnails that represent parts of COMPLEX events ( [login to view URL] ). Note: general descriptions come in two font sizes, captions in one. I’ll take a single size but two sizes are nice for distinguishing titles from descriptions. BOTTOM LEVEL. Here Phanfare displays all the photos for each separate part of a complex event. I like the layout you see at [login to view URL] But I’ll be happy with a different layout as long as it accommodates photos of various sizes.
