Writers/Photographers/Designers needed

Writers/Photographers/Designers/Flash Experts Required East Anglia Sports Magazine We are an established publishing company, we are looking to launch a new sports magazine for East Anglia, which will become a monthly glossy magazine, and will also appear online. However, first we need to drum up interest from writers and companies that may be interested in contributing to the magazine. In particular we want to hear from people who are interested in writing regularly, having a monthly column in some cases. We need WRITERS and PHOTOGRAPHERS to write about anything sport related such as: - Local Teams/Clubs (News, Results, Fixtures, History, etc. Tell us about your club) - Fitness (How do you keep fit? Have you any advice or ideas for people?) - Diet Advice (Do you follow a diet, is it working? Can you offer recipes for dieters etc) - Injury Recovery (Are you a specialist in sports injuries? Do you have advice or tips?) - Gym (We are interested to hear from Gyms and Gym users about their routines and tips) - Equipment (Advice on purchasing good equipment. Do you sell sports equipment?) - Training Tips (i.e. Tips from coaches, what fitness training works in your sport?) - Photography (We need good quality photographs of East Anglia sports teams, could be action shots, team photos, player profiles, photos of anything related to sport in East Anglia) - Youth teams of East Anglia (We want to hear from people who train and help youngsters) These are just some pointers, feel free to use your own ideas and imagination, as long as it relates to sport we would like to hear from you about your ideas. Please bear in mind that if you do decide to submit some work it needs to somehow relate to East Anglia, unless it is general information such as diet advice, workout tips etc etc. Also only submit your own work, we want genuine information and advice from the people of East Anglia. DESIGNERS: We also would like to hear from some designers, have you designed something sports related? Do you design your own clipart and images, can you help us by creating sports related images that would be useable in our magazine? WEBDESIGNERS / FLASH EXPERTS: We are also looking for a webdesigner that can offer a page flipping effect website for our magazine. By this we mean the flash page flipping effect used by many online magazines, one that we can send you PDF files, which can be added online, and visitors turn the page in the same way they would if they were reading the actual magazine, it will require a zoom feature so that people can zoom in to read the article. PLEASE NOTE THAT AT THIS EARLY STAGE WE ARE NOT EXPECTING ANYBODY TO SUBMIT THEIR WORK FOR FREE, WE ARE ASKING FOR INTERESTED PEOPLE TO CONTACT US, SHARE THEIR THOUGHTS AND IDEAS, ONCE WE HAVE HEARD FROM PEOPLE WE CAN START PUTTING TOGETHER OUR FIRST ISSUE. WE ARE AIMING TO BUILD A DATABASE OF WRITERS AND INTERESTED PEOPLE BEFORE WE DO ANYTHING ELSE. THE NEXT STAGE THEN WILL BE AGREEING PAYMENT TERMS WITH WRITERS AND DESIGNERS, THEN WE WILL COMISSION PEOPLES WORK AND PAY THEM BEFORE WE PRINT OUR FIRST MAGAZINE.
