We are a small Managed Service Provider in the US. We manage clients from a wide array of businesses with a wide array of technological needs. Occasionally, our clients need web development work. Our head coder is quite busy focusing on app development and management. We'd like to relieve some of his stress by outsourcing some of the work to a web developer Job description: We need a well rounded developer who works well in different time zones and with different team members. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable on all the latest coding languages and has tons of experience in e-commerce sites. The developer should also know when best to utilize "off-the shelf" code or build their own code. Web development project type: New Website Client side or server side development: Not Sure Specific programming languages desired: We prefer PHP or Rails. We'd like everything to work on the iPhone and iPad, so as HTML 5 friendly as possible... No Flash. Desired website or component functionality: Site is a health club site. Say you want to take a Yoga class at this new health club. You can go to the site, sign up for 10 classes. You purchase those 10 classes and now want to schedule the 7AM Tuesday class. You click on that Tuesday 7AM class and now you've been charged 1 of your classes. After your class, you want to be able to check what classes you have scheduled in the future, who the instructor is for that class, how many credits you have left... Perhaps, how many calories you've burned! --- On the club side, I'd like to be able to report on everything. I'd like to know who's going to classes. Male, Female, ages...
