We are looking for a native German speaker who can translate and localize our English website and mobile app. Only human translations are allowed on this project. Machine translation of any kind is not acceptable. Strings that need to be translated appear on various parts of our website and mobile app. Translations must be done in a business and a formal tone. Programming knowledge is not required for this project and translations should be fairly straight forward. Strings that needs to be translated are in an Excel file format (.xlsx). Please briefly describe your background (your native language, proficiency in languages, etc.). Deadline is 5 days from the day you accept the job. Thank you!

Hi, I am a native Brazilian, but grew up in London, where I lived from the age of 6 weeks to 10 years old. I also speak/write/read German at a B2 level and Spanish at B1. I have done translation jobs before for brochures, websites and small and miscellaneous texts. I like to work first reading all the text to be translated and then starting the translation process, as to be able to fully understand the content, giving the sentences a better reading fluency/tone. I put a more or less figure for the budget and the time to deliver, but that can be edited and I have free time to finish the job this week, if you wish that I do it.
